They look to have built a young, hard working team out of possession, no egos in the attack this time. Their confidence with the ball and to make the right pass was fun to watch.

The first three would be ideal, 3 positions locked up for 8-10 years with their best years ahead of them. I can see Pep really pushing for Wirtz.

I'm pretty split on it myself. If we knew for sure that his head was right and he was committed, I'd keep him. Very difficult to replace his ability on the ball, and sweeping ability (when he's not being a bozo) On the other hand I'm tired of seeing goals go in that shouldn't be beating him.

I agree, finding someone even close to his ability on the ball will be tough. I wonder if the club are wary of replacing Ederson while they are also making multiple changes further up the pitch. I guess it depends on Ederson's feelings re future.

I'm not sure that his shot stopping and 1v1 ability is good enough anymore unfortunately. Maybe it's down to motivation, but we can't keep having these mistakes.

Yep this summer has the 17/18 summer window vibes for me. I also see us winning the PL next season, maybe not 100 points like in 17/18 but a similar trajectory. I do wonder if we see a surprise sale like Doku considering his injury problems? They do seem to be chronic for him.

Good luck!

Nico and Stones are paramount for me. The right back position is tough, Khusanov a risky choice still. Hopefully Dias is back. I assume it's either Bernardo or KDB for Gundogan. No need to mess with the front four.

I'm calm, the atmosphere will be great and the players will feed off it imo. Madrid are vulnerable themselves, just don't lose going into the second leg.

I agree with that lineup, the likes of Doku and Foden from the bench are genuine game changers. However I have a feeling Pep won't sit Foden after not starting the Orient game.

I watched the Madrid derby and Real were vulnerable defensively, particularly in transitions. Their front four is still undoubtedly scary. This is a game for Savio and Marmoush, with KDB supplying. Erl should have joy against Tchouaméni and Asencio (21 y/o CB) A very close tie, feeling positive.

It's sad to see how helpless they look against any decent opposition. There's no fight, no energy when they're pressured. When PSG scored one you knew it was only getting worse. I'm not sure I want to see us in a CL knockout game at the moment.
