I’m enjoying @jacindaardern.bsky.social ‘s book quite a bit. How she got into elected office is super interesting (her concerns here 👇, I totally get).

And I gotta say, her carreer makes a great argument for the direct-candidate-plus-party-list system that New Zealand (and Germany!) has.
