The damage this man is causing will take a long time to repair. He is an outrage to all that is decent and fair! Let an impartial investigation point to the truth, not hate filled, unsubstantiated claims about groups less able to defend themselves

We have hospitals and schools falling apart. Places of worship are not a priority and should receive zero tax payer money!

And? If an author has spent time to build a story, a world, well formed characters then it’s disrespectful to change that. If you feel the need to change it then redirect that into creating your own story.

Is race swapping not a racist act itself. The book literally describes a sick looking white man with a hooked nose and greasy hair. Would you scream racist if a black character was recast as white?

I would also put modern academia as a result of the European Renaissance era and Industrial Revolution rather than Christianity.

I would disagree. Slavery was abolished by the then British Empire disrupting global slave traffic, nothing to do with Christianity. Science - well the church and science have had a very tenuous relationship.

If you believe the Bible is real, I believe karma is real. Modern religions (Abrahamic) have all been the cause of much suffering. Witch Trials, crusades, the inquisition, forced conversion, child abuse, persecution of LGBTQ people, torture, burning at the stake, all in the name of their “God”.

It’s called Karma. Christianity has a lot of blood and damage from over 1000 years to atone for.
