But when electrical grids fail and are intermittent, then what? Back to the days of hoarding gold and silver coins and bartering for food? It's been a reccuring thought & one that I'd like to hear your thoughts on are even an article about it:)

How is that going to solve their problem? It all seems so short sighted and driven purely by greed? I hear so many many economists and market analysts talking about how the digital currency will solve many issues etc.

This is a bit off topic, but i was wondering what your thoughts are regarding bitcoin and all these digital currencies that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon about. Sure the ROI is high & currently exponential, but electrical grids in particular will collapse in the future.

Same here, FT but every time the dreaded alarm clock goes off, I lay there for a few minutes thinking what's the point of all this. My only motivation is that I have bills to pay and that is what keeps me going for now. I'm working on getting a self sufficient off grid home. That's my plan for now.

Besides Bsky, is there any other platform you are on to follow your posts like Threads, IG etc? I will have to make an effort to come here more often. Not that I am that active on either, I am just old school, it takes me a while to get use to using a new social media platform :)
