It is not, in any way, more capable. I have never understood that. It's kind of like being a die hard Kali user because it pre-installs some shit. So what? I can use any and all modern *nix system's for exactly the same things.

You can use ffmpeg to do .gif to .mp4 from a command prompt.
ffmpeg.exe -i input.gif -movflags faststart -pix_fmt yuv420p output.mp4
That simple!

Extract the bin folder. Rename it: ffmpeg Move input.gif into that folder, open command prompt and run that command.
