When I was teaching, California required TB skin tests every 4 years for virtually everyone that stepped foot on a school campus, including volunteers.
I recall reading yesterday the US doesn’t recommend routine TB vaxxing due to its relatively low incidence among people who don’t travel outside the US.
Having said that, I never skipped my TB tests while I was teaching, as there were always a few cases popping up in nearby counties.
