Your saying he had a chance to show identification? I didn’t see that in the video. I did hear him verbalize who he was and his status as Senator. And then zero chance to show identification. Also, are you saying if he had an ID badge or something on, he would then be allowed to interrupt?

Yes he interrupted. Similar to what other dems and republicans do all the time. An important fact. However, that meeting in LA, at such a tense moment, seems like the absolute wrong time to draw such a hard line against people interrupting. Particularly taking down and cuffing a senator.

A clarifier on my stance here. Republicans do this shit all the time. MGT and boebert heckled Biden during his speeches constantly. This seems like completely the wrong time to take an aggressive stance on interruptions. And even more absurd to do so with such force on ANYONE let alone a US Senator.

Important detail lacking. Padilla walked toward the stage about 6 minutes into the press conference, asking his questions and completely interrupting Noem. Who did take questions from the audience at the end of the press conference. Still, a takedown and cuffs were over the top and very disturbing.
