From my understanding, S1 didn’t do that well at first but got more popular as it went on through word of mouth.

And would it be nitpicky if I question how Sonic and Shadow breathe on the moon? Maybe the chaos emerald powers? Idk

And it’s a shame that she never has a single conversation with her father before she dies, despite her death being literally the sole motivation for Gerald destroying the world.

They become besties without a single word said to each other over the course of a montage and only get one scene of actual conversation with each other. Although that one scene they did get was good.

Felt a bit rushed at times, especially with the Maria plotline. Her becoming friends with Shadow didn’t strike me as completely natural.

Comedy is still as cringe as the previous two films, certain jokes or quips felt like they took away from the seriousness of the moment.
Although with the sheer number of jokes packed-in here, some did end up making me laugh.

Finally used the main human characters in a way that added to the plot and characters without feeling completely unnecessary. Tom’s character serves the story in a way that I quite liked.
