The collapse of the Progressive Conservatives in ‘93 was considerably bigger. They went from being a majority government to winning only two seats and losing official party status.
Despite not meeting the projections months before the elections, CPC still gained a couple dozen seats this time.

I’m not so sure about that. Ford seems to really like his ‘mayor of all Ontario’ image and might not want to swim to a bigger pond.

My Alberta riding was Con forever but the NDP stayed present in the community between elections, the margin narrowed, and they flipped it in 2021.
