Been waiting for this!

I doubt he had it in him to commit suicide. That type of person (abuser) self-justifies their actions and is in denial that their actions were criminal. He probably thought he could bribe/blackmail his way to freedom like Ghislaine Maxwell is trying to do now.

True. It must be part of the required training. Unflinching. It’s effective - but only Trump is the grand master. Others aren’t as soulless and maybe have a shred of humanity. He is a complete sociopath.

Are we shocked that his lies are unraveling before our very eyes? Even ride-or-die MAGAs know he is shady AF, but they really couldn’t give a damn. They’re just on board for the drama. Drops of water eventually break limestone. It’s been a drip, drip, drip of information. Now comes the deluge.

The only credit I can give her is that she is a vapid ego stroker who would defend Trump as being misunderstood if he was caught on camera slapping her on the ass. She has totally bought into the program and is fully expecting to reap the benefits of being a far right personality for life.

I have never heard a more incapable person speak at the House Oversight Committee. She tries to lob insults and speak with gravitas. She sounds like a scared public defender who rehearsed her talking points in the mirror the night before. She is a failure at spin and hurling invectives.

I love how she walks away pretending that her life isn’t going to be hell until she collapses from exhaustion and a guilty conscience that will grow by the day. Good luck with that, Ms. Trump Mouthpiece.

He spent the day trying to convince LB that she she see the error of her ways.

"Hope is a dangerous thing, Donald. Hope can drive a man insane". Too late, the sanity train left Mar a Lago many years ago.

That’s an Ellis Redding reality check dropped into the House Chambers.

Is the supposed 1/2 loaf the vote? They put people through hell for a vote concession. Where do we really think this is headed if there is a vote? I’ll grant that Republicans we’re never going to concede and they handed the Dems a crap sandwich. But where is the bright side?
November 13, 2025 at 1:53 AM
I don’t doubt they have tampered with the files. I also think other people had access to the files and probably took copies of a lot of incriminating stuff. That’ll slowly leak out.
November 12, 2025 at 10:02 PM
Whatever you wanna call it, fine with me. Dems withheld their vote and then gave it without more than a very weak concession to hold a vote. If you’re gonna force Americans to endure the pain, then you might as well see it through to the end. That being said, Republicans weren’t going to concede.
November 12, 2025 at 7:26 PM
He might as well scream “nothing to see here, all is well”. I’m starting to think that some of the Repubs who said they would vote for the release are going to have second thoughts. Trump and his leg breakers had eight weeks to “ persuade” them that there are more important matters to attend to.
November 12, 2025 at 7:22 PM
Someone will succumb to pressure or there will be a leak. Then Mike Johnson will be standing there with his finger in the dyke with Republicans, standing behind him and praying that it doesn’t explode, which it will eventually. Imagine being on the wrong side of history for protecting pedophiles.
November 12, 2025 at 7:14 PM
Chuck Schumer doth protest too much about Democrats caving. I’ve heard more and more about the eight individuals who voted to open the government, and it’s clear that they’re trying to give Chuck a leg to stand on. If you are the leader, hold true in your convictions. Dems got outfoxed here.
November 12, 2025 at 7:07 PM
Anyone else thinking that the past eight weeks have been useful as Republicans looked to maximize pressure on those who would vote for the release petition? Think about it — 8 weeks of constant calls, emails, and texts while party leadership, assaults the airwaves calling it a farce.

Pseudofolliculitis Barbae was always considered a legitimate condition in the military, and gave black men an exemption from shaving. It mostly affects black men with few exceptions. It’s hard to see how this couldn’t be viewed as targeting a individuals with legitimate clinical conditions.

Can we start as a country by admitting that crime affects both red and blue states? There is no monopoly on crime in blue states, and federal troops certainly don’t belong there. I’m interested to hear what move to the center means, but I’d be all for getting rid of for-profit prisons.
November 12, 2025 at 6:37 PM
At this point, I’m just hoping enough people are convinced (with evidence) that Trump at the very least knew what was going on. The Republicans participated in a cover-up that they knew would affect elections. I’ll admit that it could affect Democrats too. Whoever is guilty should be punished.
November 12, 2025 at 6:34 PM
The whole point of this exercise should be to extend Obamacare subsidies until a better plan emerges, whether that’s from Republicans or Democrats. Seeing how Obamacare is the only alternative to keeping millions covered, and since Trump has been saying two weeks forever, I won’t hold my breath.
November 12, 2025 at 6:29 PM
I’d love to see a list of questionable or illegal actions this administration has taken for no other reason but to slake Trump’s unending thirst for what he laughably considers vengeance. Sadly, this would be just another entry on that long list.

A dystopian take on the housing market: people who can’t afford housing move to places where homes can’t be insured. Homes in these areas are sold at a huge loss to buyers who risk it all just to have a place that they can call their own.

The insurance market is adding more pain to Home buying.
