Speaking as a northerner, you’re gonna get fewer casual/new fans attending games, which erodes the pipeline of new fans becoming invested. I’m not sitting outside for two hours in 35° for a team or sport I don’t care about yet.

Like is that how I look to my coworkers? Is that the vantage point with which people just move through the world? Fascinating
