Great thread and as a fellow ‘supporter’ of the bbc I agree entirely. But at present this is not what is happening

IMO Jonathan Marcus is a rare voice of reason on the #BBC #bias debate. The first duty of journalism is to get as near to the truth as is humanly possible. But to do so, personal views of *any* kind, inc those of the right of centre, must be set aside, so that stories are approached *fairly*.

The subs are not having a positive impact in the main, I agree. Just think that it’s also a mentality thing. Instead of trying to put the game to bed when leading at half time, we sort of go a bit passive and defensive which is not a strength

The substitutions today definitely helped Spurs and did the opposite for united. Tbf Maguire was injured…and sounded from Ruben’s comments that Case being subbed was possibly due to an issue as well although he’s been subbed around the 60 minute mark in most of the games
