As a Canadian I appreciate the question being asked. I don’t know that I trust his answer, but I absolutely am touched to know someone cares enough to ask.

I do not trust any pretence of goodwill from him. This start/stop control tactic will create chaos in Canada especially, and it’s exactly what he wants. It will cost time & money to keep managing his whims and keep him in the news cycle.

One of the strangest hikes I have ever been on was in Rocky Mountain National Park after their wildfires. Zero leaf sounds. No birds. Just. Silence. That sound 🍃 sure reminds you of how perfect it is when it’s absent!
