Your cynicism would be less irritating if it was believable.
Don’t be like this. Don’t scold strangers for having hope in things. If you find it misguided, then find creative ways to redirect that hope, but this fatalist approach is a dark spiral that does nothing to build the world we deserve.

We millennials aren’t going to have social security, but not for any of the reasons they scared us with growing up. We’re not going to have a retirement safety net for the absolutely dumbest reason.
