That famous image of Nazi's burning books? They were burning the Institute of Sex Research's books. It is incredibly boring to allow history to repeat itself!

An issue with this is that they are published at a certain point in time so new information isn't included - which is why we need both - but access to information in books/zines/pamphlets is at least something that can't be scrubbed at whim by fascists.

I still don’t know what to make of the Raoul Moat one (got it free from Dead Ink Bookshop) - voyeuristic, bleak, sad - a portrait of someone failed by the system but also someone with a horrific capacity for violence - interesting to read it now alongside what’s been happening in the UK recently
