The mamma mourning Dove left for warmer parts a few days ago. I never managed to get a good picture of her two babies. They grew up so fast So now I get the honor of sweeping up their adorable Dove feces off of the porch here.

Spent independence day with my indigenous friend Sky. I sure wish I could post from the pics from my twice a year lunch with my son. It was very good for us both .

Happy belated birthday to my father's mother, grandma Mim. She was born May 30th and would be well over 100. I lived with her in my late teens and early twenties and we had such fun covering.

My feeble attempt at growing flowers from seed. I know now not to put so many water lilly seeds. Going to have to replant the assorted baby flowers.
