Yes, you could go to Apple/MacOs. However to get the most out of that, you need to switch ALL your products to Apple or get all the mobile apps for Apple on your Android devices. Won't sway anyone away that has used one operating system over another. iOS is simply a pain for IT companies, IMHO.

Yes, if you values privacy over anything else, go to Linux or another variant. But then you'll be constantly trying to find solutions to apps you need/want to use that aren't available on that platform....

STOP being counterproductive to workflow. People don't like Microsoft products because they do this stupid stuff all the time. Their products are sound and they do give you more features for your money with more security and privacy options than any other big software company...

...what frustrates me is they decide to put it RIGHT next to the most used location and have it pop up a dialog box that you HAVE to click the x in the top right or if you are lucky the ESC key will work. I don't even mind the one-time pop-up that informs you about new features in apps...
