I’m not crazy optimistic but I do think that the more of this shit that stacks up the less the “pretend it isn’t happening” strategy works

All of the successful musicians I know are extremely friendly or networky OR have somehow charmed a social butterfly into doing the dirty work for them (obviously this is the dream and a weirdo’s best hope, but it’s pretty rare and involves convincing someone you are a genius)
