WHY does ADR (below) require this much intelligence and faith, shoots the SAME projectiles and shares the exact thematic with the spirit glaive below, and yet the spirit glaive requires ONLY 16 intelligence. For WHAT purpose was this weapon made, for the int nerds to get yet ANOTHER cool weapon?????

Pictured below are several weapons that DIRECTLY encompass the thematic of the necromantic and/or holy power that int/fth has within the bounds of elden ring. However INTENSELY to my frustration, only scale with one stat. Meaning it doesn't work well in your build remotely, despite being made for it

We waited like. two or three years of int/fth being slop doggity shit and suffering through single handed casting (extremely annoying to learn and deal with until you get used to it. It's going from a automatic to a manual.) and we get a REALLY GOOD staff that lets us cast ANYTHING from it. Nice!

Now notably, while these two tools did allow you to cast your particular int/fth spells and EVENTUALLY they did some solid scaling for good damage, it took fucking ages. Still, no dual-casting singular tool. Until two or three years later, in the fucking dlc. buried in a SECRET BOSS IN A SIDEQUEST.

Instead, we got this glintstone staff, and this incantation seal. Both made to scale with int/fth, but the staff requiring FAR TOO MUCH investment in stats to make the spells come out dealing any fucking damage, leaving your stats pumped into damage with no survivability, extra MP or anything else.

These spells throughout the game and this particular build have always been amazingly fun, for the locked-behind spells that require heavy stat investment for cool black magic and the thematic that comes w it. But theres one huge fucking problem, PARTICULARLY IN ELDEN RING WHICH SICKENS ME TO ILL

However throughout the games from DS2+ (ds3, elden ring) we have a build that lets you use both items, and INT+FTH build. Love this build. I love using wizard magic AND faith magic, it typically comes with its own unique, dark and necromantic spell theme for int/fth spells, a few pictured below.

Both spell-types use TWO seperate and distinct casting tools, called "Incantation seals" or "Glintstone Staffs". The former, requires the FTH/Faith stat to be levelled generally, to use its functions (casting). The latter, INT/Intelligence. Otherwise you CAN'T cast with the tool effectively.
