It feels to me that when we lost Sheldon, the RC and now WotC are trying to implement a ton of changes that aren’t in the best interest of the format. And frankly, a multi-million dollars company having full control of a casual format just doesn’t sit right.

Where I live there are still a lot of family run businesses. Often the younger generations have big plans that the older ones would never implement. As soon as the patriarch dies, the younger ones step in and start implementing all the changes they wanted. And it’s often chaos and hurts business.

He streamed over 6,000 hours to get some of those numbers. That’s not achievable by the average human. If we sleep 8 hours a night that leaves less than 6,000 waking hours. His money comes at the cost of his humanity.

Because the jobs that AI should be doing are what billionaires use to enslave Americans. Meanwhile billionaires are trying to replace creatives so that everyone not in the 1% is in the slave class.

I got utterly trounced by a goblin-less krenko deck the other day. Its primary goal was just to keel untapping Krenko. Turns out you don’t need other goblins to make him good.

The people distributing the media don’t even understand it. Disney puts out season 2 of Andor, which directly called out what’s happening in the US, then Disney rolls over and complies with the very fascists Gilroy was calling out.

The Pokemon Let’s Go games are still selling for $60 each digitally. And those didn’t even have enough content to be full priced in the first place. And now we’re being told GTA VI could cost $100 US. Plus the PS5 is 5 years old now, can’t have much left in its lifecycle. Gaming is 100% greed.

I’m going to assume you aren’t familiar with Jet Lag the Game. But they are actually a lot of fun to watch. And stupid thumbnails feed the algorithm, that’s how YouTube videos get made.

It’s more we shouldn’t have to trade in so much to get so little. And at a pace that infuriates me. By the time I can afford the newest console everyone is getting ready for the next generation to be announced.

Alchemy is equal exchange. Not trade $1000 worth of nostalgia and memories for soulless cash grab that should have been the Original switch but, you know, “console wars” aka capitalism fucking sucks.

That’s kinda my point. I only ever seen Jodah and Esika. Krenko is another and almost as common. There are thousands of commanders on Arena and I see the same three or four at most.

I have never seen strip mine and I exclusively play Brawl on arena. I think the matchmaking is shit. My opponents are almost always playing either Esika or Jodah. If I play 15 games in a day, 10 will be one of those two commanders. But my partner, never sees those two.

Okay seems silly but fine. I’m sorry you’re scared. I’m sorry you can’t get the help you deserve. But 5 years of screaming “pandemic pandemic” isn’t helping anyone. It’s turning away the people who need to hear it.

I’m sorry this happened to you. Losing people is awful. But what I’m seeing is more indicative of American health care than an ongoing pandemic. Spreading fear will not solve anything.

Because I don’t see what you see. I do not see a pandemic destroying lives. I see people worried they will never financially recover from it. But I also see a lot people put off healthcare because of the cost. People die from diseases all the time. Spreading fear is not necessary.
