...I still wonder though. Are there really transwomen out there who believe they can be seen and be treated as a women by a gynecologist? I dunno, I find that a bit absurd. I mean, AFABs still need to see their GYN regardless of how they identify as, but AMABs?

Purposefully misgendering someone because they still have a penis (or breasts for transmen) is disrespectful and I will always call it out. That said, misgendering by mistake or by pure ignorance shouldn't be responded with anger, no matter how triggered you may get. Educate and allow them to learn.
