Don’t cave and add more to the list of demands. No one wants martial law, so pull National Guard and ICE troops out of states that haven’t requested it. Rehire gov workers so the economy doesn’t crash and we can catch up for the month we lost during the shutdown.

Do something. Ask yourself “how would Mitch pass legislation when he doesn’t hold the majority?” Then do that. If you can shake hands and confirm their appointees, then you can learn something from them.
