IWBG has always had a whiff of Midlife Crisis: while primarily anti-AI, it was also a case of "if you don't start now, you'll never get good", so I decided I'd take one last swing at making music. I took some of the lessons this project has taught me & I hashed out the accompanying track

As I reflected over the last couple months, seeing how much further I'd gone than I could've imagined, something was gnawing at me. Music had always been my main creative love, but despite the talent & far greater overall interest, that part of me had been mostly held down & left to rust

The idea was "bringing your demons into the light doesn't make them go away, but it does make them easier to handle". Unfortunately it has only kinda worked, a noticeable difference (that the camera exaggerates) but not what I was hoping. A slight disappointment for my penultimate project piece.

I pulled it and replaced this with Andromeda Sunset when I realised it was unfair to pay campaign spoilers publicly. Unfortunately, after hiatuses and players leaving, the campaign is ending before they even reached this point, so there's no longer any point in holding this back.

At best you can make the most of a lesser deal, but at worst you just end up slowly rotting until you finally, actually die. I'm terrified of that happening to me.

Also the lampposts are gay

Not a single other person was around, in the glass monolithic buildings towering above, or the plastic and AstroTurf facsimile of a garden, or the grey slab paving slapped down between. The art isn't exactly high-brow, more corporate-approved whimsy, but I still felt it deserved better than this.

And then of course I knock a cable or something and now it works fine again.
