You don't just start a trade war with our biggest trading partners promising to go "back to normal" if they comply with vague demands.

Supply chains are reworked. Old suppliers fired. Jobs are lost. Prices rise. Retaliatory tariffs are implemented.

This is a child's approach to trade relations.
