Agree on the Vegas part. At the time, though, they decided not to take some very good players like Duchene and Tarasenko, who whilst they were expensive, they would've added some much needed creativity. The plan was to utilise cap space, and that just hasn't really happened.

I was looking at the expansion draft list, and they really messed up. Too bad to be a competitor, but not bad enough to get elite players in drafts. Utterly mid.

I didn't get a lot of their selections at the time and they look even worse now.
