The RE showcase kinda sucked? it felt a bit like oh you have some genuinely cool gameplay to show and then just a bunch of BS I don't care about. There wasn't even a proper trailer but we did need 3 brands there for some reason.

I've been playing a bit of New Super Mario Bros U on my Wii U and it's pretty nice yknow but it does reinforce to mr already that it's a very poor launch game. Not bad at all in fact it's very dependable Mario fun so far but I'd be very disappointed paying yknow £300 or whatever for a Wii U and it.

Oh yes I was talking about listening to Christmas number 1s and I listened to all the Ladbaby ones and fucking hell they were all absolutely abysmal and made me feel bad physically. They sounded dreadful.

As i mentioned before I've been playing Half-Life 2 recently and it's probably a lot better than I remembered it being last time. It's still fun messing with the physics for combat and puzzles even 21 years on.

I slept through the game awards as it is the right thing to do. It was on at 12:30am ffs. So I didn't realise this won so much lol.
I probably will have to give it a 2nd try on the easiest difficulty lol just so I can actually play it because I couldn't get past the defense timing stuff.

I mentioned doing that Christmas Number 1 thing before but another thing I want to do is play all of Half-Life 2 i tried doing a playthrough last year but stopped for whatever reason. I've finished it before so I really want to do the full dev commentary run.

Having a cheap Lego Sonic is like so great for me. I have Tails and Amy but no Sonic and it's been bugging me for ages. $10 I think is 7.99? or 8.99 in lego pricing so it's a huge win for me :D

I'm making it a small mission now to try and pick up some weird Wii U ports of like big western AAA games from years ago. So like Black Ops 2 or Mass Effect 3 or something.

Eugh as someone who's been wanting Soulcalibur 3 a lot it does bug me to no end that it's now a full month away. It'll probably be a Christmas purchase now (i don't have PSplus premium but they sell the games separately) but like why can't we get two ps2 games in a month?
I've bought so many games recently and I'm hoping that I can get around to playing all of them. I got like Sonic Unleashed on wii, GTA the trilogy on Xbox Series X, White Day on Switch, Persona 3 Portable on PS4, Condemned on Xbox (before it got delisted). Plus so much more actually.

I mentioned Bowser's fury as a joke while writing about SXSG in my last thread but I do actually need to give it a chance. I was kinda annoyed and still am that it's this fully open Mario adventure and not a mini campaign of 3D World levels. I loved 3d world and was wanting more of it.

So today I finished Shadow Generations after buying Sonic X Shadow for like £18 and it was absolutely wonderful stuff. I loved it. Having a Generations sidequel focusing on Shadow wasn't something I was really wanting but it works and it makes me appreciate Shadow a lot more.

This surprised me in that A. New TT lego game i thought that was over tbh and B. a weird Skywalker Saga esque Batman game with a bunch of the movies repped but also with arkham stuff? Sign me up this looks super cool. TT Lego games are always nice so this is cool
