Finally have the top together. Of course I figured wrong and only made enough for half a top. Had to spend a day making more! Math is not easy for me. Tomorrow, put on my longarm and quilt, then binding.

Before and after of a SunBonnet Sue. The client does not want white replaced so I tried to stitch it down where I could. Love those Sues!

Before and after. Went from 64x90 to 84x96. Twin sized family top client wanted made into a queen. Added log cabin block and cream tone on tone border. Hope she is happy!

Client has this old full size family top for years. Needs it to be queen. I just need to put binding on it, then I will share the result! I love this Trip Around the World pattern.

Yellow fan quilt is done! Replaced all binding except brown with vintage prints. Replaced 5 white curved pieces with vintage muslin. Eight pieces of various fans have been replaced. I put safety pins where I work so I can find them again. Usually they blend so well I have problems doing that!

Before and after covering a section of fan with vintage fabric

I love yellow vintage quilts! For this repair, I am covering several white sections that have frayed; a few fan pieces; and covering all binding except brown. All from my vintage stash. Will post again when done!

Good luck getting past Petunia Pig guarding my studio! Hired her from a market in Alabama.

The artist is Lexi, a student at the Studio 76 Artists storefront I rent space at. The tears are beads she sewed into the canvas. I believe it is acrylic. I am a huge fan of hers. This is available for purchase. She is not on Bluesky yet so let me know if interested. I will be sharing more work.

What to do when you have to cover mysterious holes and nothing in your vintage stash matches this vintage faded tan. well, you make a flower from that stash! And since the binding was affected, you bring the petals around. After covering and quilting the triangle on the front. Love it!

What do you do if you have mysterious holes to cover but fabric is vintage and faded, hard to match? Well just make a flower (from your vintage stash) of course. And since the binding is involved, bring it around to the front. Tadaa!

I absolutely love this cutie I am repairing right now! A twin size Tree of Life quilt. Actually it is a little smaller than a twin. Maybe for a daybed since the tree blocks all go to the side in one direction. Will show progress probably Friday

Before and after of the back of the quilt that I just shared with the block repair. This one is done, now onto its sister quilt that was brought by the same supernice client. Superfun!
