I was able to replace the countertops in here, but that's going to be the extent of it😄 The owner before us put in new cabinets and appliances, but left the dark green linoleum countertops.

Right? 😄 I'm the planner, I get it, but also, take some initiative.

Admirable fact about her: she was the one who suggested Taylor Swift re-record her music when it was purchased. She's a real one.

We use ours daily. 4 ovens? My dream kitchen❤️ That's the one thing I have disliked about our house since we bought it, a small kitchen.

Running on treadmills is a dangerous game😄 I fell on one in 2014. Concussion, detached retina, plastic surgery on my face, and it took my pants😄 The ER doc said "I would have set myself on fire." It probably would have been less of a spectacle🤔

My current chair situation is boring😄 They're nice, and we'll probably wait a while to get new ones, but these took so long to pick out, might as well start thinking now.
December 3, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Yes! I need some inspiration. Our current chairs are a similar shade to the one in the pic. They're recliners, but not the puffy kind. I don't hate them, they're just not my style.

I like that chair. I would love to have more stylish chairs, but my husband thinks we have sit on them🙄 The ones we have now are a good compromise, but i like that one.

them how easy it can be to move away from templates and pop ups. It's not cheap, but it's worth it for user experience.
December 2, 2025 at 11:26 PM
My husband does software and web development. It's prevalent as more companies move their development offshore because of cost. If everything feels the same, it's because it is😄 It's all template farms that people can do on the cheap. He's working on data sovereign solutions for people too, teaching

The brown grocery bag of popcorn😄 We had to wear our pajamas to the drive in too.

You just gotta throw in a couple "aboot" and "ga-rage." Also, all of our cousins who live in Surrey,BC, they all sneeze super loud. Not sure why🤔

We took a trip to London in 2018 to see my niece graduate college. She told us to sew Canadian flag patches on our stuff😄

People can be such shits.
December 2, 2025 at 5:43 PM
He's notorious😄 He's very feral, so we'll probably have him returned to us, and we'll continue putting food, water and shelter out for him. He lived in the forest behind our house. I'm sure he keeps all the mice away.

We did! Northwest Animal Companions. They sent us an update recently. Miss Kitty (the mom), is 11 months old and her paw is healing beautifully. Puff and Stuff, the two kittens, are placed in a foster with her and are also getting socialized. Next up we have to catch the father and get him neutered.
December 1, 2025 at 5:44 PM
I do too, but I still tried😄 He's going to eventually bring another full time customer service person on, so he says this is just a gap filler until he can afford it. I don't have to like it though😄 When we were trying to find homes for those kittens, the AI answering services were all over.
December 1, 2025 at 4:06 PM
My husband has a small software and web design business. He has 4 employees, one specifically for customer service, WHO DOESN'T ANSWER THE PHONE. He is putting an AI phone thing on and it annoys me so much. I'm with you, I tried to talk him out of it, but it's so much cheaper.
