Hello world! I'm researching the involvement of children of the majority population in the forced assimilation of Romani in Norway. This photo (1904) shows some of these children busy making prizes for a bazaar. The money they made would be invested in orphanages and work camps targeting Romani.

Først gikk de etter feminister, så skeive – og deretter transpersoner. I 30 år har Den katolske kirken motarbeidet styrkede rettigheter for kvinner og seksuelle minoriteter. For den argentinske nonnen Monica Astorga betød kjønnskampen slutten på livet i kloster.

Men da Den katolske kirken trappet opp kjønnskrigen, måtte Monica Astorga forlate klosteret.

Excited for this! I'll share some work-in-progress from my thesis about how interwar debates regarding nature vs. nurture were communicated to children through fictional conversion stories.
