Couldn’t resist getting out the other week to photograph the hoar frost. It always looks so beautiful in the morning light.

The sun gives up at half-past four,
As early stars make their appearance.
The thin air holds every sound.
The light is low, and barely warms
the pavement where it meets.
Postcards from middle-province.

Shot on Leica.

Tuesday, November 11th. The forecast said “clear skies.” It didn’t say anything about the sky catching fire. There were visible red auroras streaking across the sky. BHP in Manitoba sure was buzzing with excitement.

Beautiful red Aurora from Manitoba this week.

Sometimes the view through the window says enough. Fragments of light, motion, and memory. Somewhere along American pavement. Location unknown.

Enjoying my time up north, where nights like these happen more often than I can count.

Hi. I forget I have this app. Here are some photographs I took of Nuit Blanche in Winnipeg last month. 👋 Taken with the Leica M11.

Cat is out of the bag. 😁 I got to work on the Pilot episode as an apprentice to the Art Department. This team is so, so talented. Cannot wait to watch this show!

Thank you to everyone who came to my gallery reception last night. Connecting with each of you and talking about the stories behind my work, your interpretations, and even your favorite pieces made the evening truly special.
Your support means the world to me!

Got to photograph with the Canon RF28-70mm F2 yesterday. It was a very nice piece of glass to work with. I hate that this is most likely the next piece of glass that I’ll have to pick up. Need something to bridge the gap between the 15-35mm and the 70-200mm.

Stunning X1.1 solar flare from the sun today. This region is something to keep an eye on in the days ahead and it rotates towards earth. Hoping it may have more surprises in store. 🤞

G2 solar storm in progress, so some of you up north might have a great chance to catch the aurora tonight. Sadly, I won’t be able to see them from my location, but if you do, feel free to share your pics! A blood moon paired with the aurora? Now that could be a bucket list shot. Good luck!

Ran my first half-marathon today. Wasn’t planning on it, but the legs felt good during zone 2. Decided that I had more in me. Great way to start the weekend!
