What stuck to me most was making a Blade without blade and instead following three random women giving life lessons? Just... why?

Huh... I don't follow anime at all but Pluto is the first anime since Suzume I've seen covered in mainstream sources. Paste and slashfilmgave it a fantastic reviews and Reddit won't shut up about it. I honestly thought it was more of a traditional animated show until you called it anime.
