Sounds like "trivia bell". Any/all pronouns. Mi'kmaw and white. Newfoundlander. I never claim to be a good person, only the best me I can be.

I make no apologies for my blorbo ranking, but I will say that some of my lower ranks are because I just don't *know* the characters as well... and some I just grate against like sandpaper. dacompanionsorter.neocities.org

2019: The entire reason I wrote this thread backwards in time. Hot diggity bus that pink PINKS. The other colours are somewhat more distinguishable than other years, and the yellow is for some reason almost completely non-reactive (the wheels and the top of the sun). Weird!

2020: Doesn't show up quite as well on my phone camera, but definitely distinct colours in person, it's just that they all react to the same brightness (except, again, the white-cream lines of the outer perimeter. Some colour distinction, but not great.

2021: Now we're getting somewhere. Very distinct differences between the colours, a little more visual depth, but still only the cream shines bright because of the higher concentration of white pigment.
November 4, 2025 at 7:50 PM
2022: The picture does a terrible job of capturing what's going on here. The sun rays and cream-white elements do fluoresce more strongly, they're just very thin. Minimal colour distinguishing again, though.
November 4, 2025 at 7:50 PM
2023: Same story. Spots that look different colours here are, per the original comparison, only because of the quality of my $10 cat toy pen light. In person, slightly better colours distinguishing, but not much.
November 4, 2025 at 7:50 PM
2024: no particular colours stand out. Any fluorescence is probably down to the base white filler pigments in the ink. You can kind of tell that they're different colours in person, but the camera fails to pick that up.

I got a hardcover of Sunrise on the Reaping, hoping it would be the same size as my pre-film-adaptation Hunger Games trilogy. I fully didn't expect Scholastic to have kept ALL the aesthetic touches intact, the fonts and placements of logos and even the under-the-dust-cover views. Magnificent.

Bonus: the daisies outside my front window this morning.

Feeling poorly today. Instead of detail, a cat. My little rascal Avery taking a nap.

I use a third party client on Android called ZonePane. A popular repost will show up every time someone reposted it separately, but subsequent reposts within a certain time can be hidden like so, reducing the # of times you see it. (It also keeps your place in the timeline on refresh, mostly.)

I've had a real crap day, but instead of rambling on about it and dragging down the tone further in my complaining, I'm posting a cat pic. This is how Avery politely asks for lap snuggles when I have him blocked off by a book or the laptop: by judging me for not letting him into my lap.

Take the fictional characters quiz and post the first four you know: openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac...

Well that's... certainly quite the definitive archetype of my soul, yes. Queer, compassionate nerds. (If you think one or more of these characters isn't queer, I can provide essays.)

SOON! My brown is getting long, time to first lighten it back up to my shoulders, then re-green. I'm very lucky that the look I like can be easily achieved with home products, and by easily I mean "this is the strongest bleach on the market and it still needs over 90 minutes on me to go strawberry."

(Since this may require some context for folks who don't live in high-snow regions, this was my snow storage pile about two weeks ago. The pile extends from the hill a good 4-5 meters deep. We had one fairly major snowfall since then, plus the drift you can barely see at the top right fell down.)

I don't wear a lot of black or grey so this is what I got for closet cosplay. Also my hair is just tied in a knot at the nape of my neck, hiding under the flannel, but the wispy hairline bits make it look cut that short. ✌️ And with that, I am ready (nothing else to prepare) but also SO NOT READY!

Gotta pre-game my snacks, make sure they're up to standard. (Yes sometimes I just do bbq sauce and cheese, diced tomato is a vastly underrated replacement for sauce, and garlic fingers and donair sauce are a local delicacy.) Love making a whole baking sheet of pizza to snack on for days.

I'm using a save editor to hack polyamory into Veilguard so I don't need to play the game seven times or watch other people play the game "wrong" (make choices I wouldn't) but I locked in my first one today and WHEW that was sudden and hot and I am not disappointed.
