Vispār jau tas tikai izvērstākā tekstā saka to pašu, ko konvencijas definīcija. Bet tur ir skaidrs, ka a) runa ir par sievietēm un vīriešiem (2 dzimumiem tradicionālā izpratnē) un b) par sabiedrībā pieņemtajiem uzskatiem un lomām attiecībā uz šiem diviem dzimumiem.
