So the idea a local model could summarize or interpret the interaction seems entirely possible to help with privacy. It would also offload the processing to the client and then the server can collect the results.

Very interesting thoughts! I just installed a note taking app, and it does voice recordings which can then to speech to text. It asked to download a 150 MB whisper AI model, which I allowed, and then the text of my speech shows up. VERY slick, device only.
