I think it’s more for people like me who occasionally play the Steam Deck on a TV and also want it to be a streaming box. But of course I have those things already so I don’t *need* this necessarily.

Same. I learned how to have an actual conversation as a result of working retail. I had been incredibly introverted and had a hard time talking, but the front register was a trial by fire of human interaction.

It feels inappropriate for me to have strong feelings about the politics of a place in which I don’t live and have no connection to. That said, wtf is Cuomo doing anywhere near elected office. What is happening here.

Depends on the org, but when I’ve been Senior or beyond I’ve still been pretty hands-on, with additional onboarding/training responsibilities for new people.

Yeah, and if you looked directly at someone’s profile it showed their posts in order of popularity not time, and there was no way to change that unless (I think) you logged in.

Bluesky is really interesting from a technical perspective as well, as it can in theory be fully decentralized and protected in case of an Elon-like takeover eventually.
Also, it lets me see posts from the people I follow and not other junk.
