Why are we going after Venezuela and Nigeria when we should be stepping up efforts to support Taiwan and Ukraine?

The sanctions don’t do much. Taiwan needs the military deterrence. Peace through strength.

Europe needs to take firmer actions against the Trump administration. Perhaps working with companies like ASML to limit the influence of the Mag7. Once the stock market starts to take a hit, it’ll be harder for Trump to taking the actions he’s been taking.

I love this

I’ll give Beijing that. They’re pretty good at distorting narratives in their favor. It’s nonsense, but effective unfortunately.

This is much needed! More political leaders should be showing up unannounced at these facilities.

You’re right. At this point, I’ve just given up on anything bring down Trump. I’ve resigned myself to just hoping that we stop talking about him when his presidency ends and we move on from him.

They won’t release it. From everything that’s been reported, it would be highly damaging to Trump and the Republican Party.

Aren’t they legally mandated to release the files today though?

While I totally agree. Trump is an absolute grace, but a White House address should still be aired. The people should be able to see what the president says, even if it’s absolutely idiotic.

I’m very skeptical. At the end of the day, Trump doesn’t care about Taiwan and the Taiwanese people. The NSS basically spells out that the U.S. only cares about Taiwan because of its semiconductors and its strategic location.

Well said.

They know what they voted for. They wanted this.

Glad to see you on the campaign trail and reaching out to Texans.

I’ve stopped taking Hasan Piker seriously. I don’t think he’s a good representative of the Left. He’s clearly quite in favor of authoritarian regimes.

Trump has been the most pro-PRC candidate in recent memory. He doesn’t care about Taiwan, didn’t back Takaichi, likely has no idea what AUKUS is, and is gradually making the U.S. more like China. There’s a reason that they call him “川建国” in China.
