For me it's having to turn off any sort of autocomplete effect in VScode because "intellisense" (aka stupid-shit) will forcefully autocorrect your input into something that doesn't actually work. In this case, trying to act like any function I'm writing in JS into a constructor function.

I'm already fed up just having to deal with Amazon's AI/powered automated systems for external sellers, which is part of my job now. Having to deal with ACTUAL AI? Hell, only reason I can use something like DeepL confidently is because I know enough German to understand what comes out the other end.

I've found including small author's notes talking about your experience writing the chapter at the end of chapters tends to make people more likely believe it's written by a person. An extra layer of human interaction. Ofc you can still take that with AI but people assume you're a person anyway.

Eh, I tend to give content creators and such whose living depends on user interactions a pass, since they rarely do anything more than post their stuff there, they don't interact with stuff, and they only really look at the numbers.
That said, most creators I follow already have Bsky accounts.

At the very least this should chase off most of the content creators that aren't favored by The Party, since they'd not get rewarded for regular content posting anymore.

Not to mention taking away 99% of the reasons for people to actually post on there. If regularly posting will no longer get you the impressions you want, why post regularly? They'll be starving for content in no time, and then it'll be turned into a circle-jerk of AI slop generating off of AI slop.

Nice recommendation. Personally, as a non-ace person learning about the concepts of asexuality and aromanticism, the comic Supernormal Step was my first insight. It doesn't have a direct focus on the identity, but from what I know the protag does actually act like an ace person all the way through.

... So if we kill him, he wasn't real to begin with? Is that what he's saying? Because that's what I'm hearing (no I don't care if the algorithm hates me now).

I can't WAIT for the AI bubble to pop and people to take their lost money out on him as the face of the movement.

So you're telling me that in a month's time there's going to be some form of software that lets me send a bunch of false or standardized data to microsoft and get 'extended' updates for free?

Because these guys don't CARE if you're an illegal immigrant or a natural-born citizen. Why would they? There's no due process, no consequences if they nab a natural-born, fully legal citizen of the US off the streets purely based on skin color or 'a gut feeling' and ship them to a hell prison.

I mean, when I heard EA was getting sold I knew it was dead, they're just beating a dead horse now, I'm mostly sad for the people whose careers got messed with.

And that, again, is a poor description, but any other attempt to explain what I'm picturing seems to result in coming across rather derisively of emotion in general, which is absolutely not my intention.

But I will try anyway. Reacting emotionally or instinctively to the outside world is perfectly normal and I'd argue healthy. Making short term decisions based on these impulses is also normal, if not always healthy. I'm referring to people who don't stop to think even for long-term.
