Our Archivist Jeremy Pekarek traveled to Minnesota for the Midwest Archives Conference. He co-paneled "Space, Time, and Design: Considering Special Collections Instructional Spaces" with Ohio State University and University of Michigan colleagues and facilitated a MAC Forum for solo archivists. #IUN

We got a new scanner! The library is proud to announce our brand new Aperion/42 scanner homed at the IU Northwest Archives. It can scan huge items up to 42” by 60” at 1200dpi to create hi-res images of oversized items. Stay tuned for more exciting things to come!

For Women's History Month, our Archives proudly displays scrapbooks detailing history of the Ninety Niners, celebrating and representing women pilots. The org began in 1929 with 1st president Amelia Earhart. Stop by the library to see Indiana Dunes chapter scrapbooks. #IUN

It's Black History Month, and we have amazing displays to share, courtesy of Kylie Cooper! The artifacts were collected from Suriname and Ghana by her grandfather, who immigrated to the U.S. in the 40s. The vase is a recent creation of #IUN alum Ryan Bennett.
