Nearly 1 month ago, a group of us from Intersectional Uprising launched the #SomeoneIKnew campaign. We want to challenge the narrative in the media. Our migrant & trans communities are not the threat to #Womenssafety. We need to show who the real threat is. Join us for the 1 month celebration 🫶🏻

The government says it is “driving forward private finance efforts for Gaza's reconstruction.”

As if enabling a genocide wasn't enough. Now, they are allowing private companies to make some money out of it as well.

Have they no shame?

'No shame': UK invites private firms to compete for Gaza reconstruction contracts
As Britain positions itself as key player in the rebuilding of territory devastated by Israel's genocide, MPs point to its role in its destruction

I am horrified by the news of multiple stabbings at a Manchester synagogue on Yom Kippur.

My thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims of this heinous antisemitic attack.

We must defend a society where people of all faiths can practice their religion in safety and peace

If the media and politicians continually discriminate against Muslims, people of colour and women, why are we surprised that some police officers wont be influenced by that? A former PM once likened Muslim women to bank robbers, and we have heard the worst language about migrants since Enoch Powell.

Out thoughts & prayers go out to all that were affected today, their families & the Jewish community in Manchester.
Manchester has always been a diverse & multicultural community, it is what makes us who we are.

We must stand united against hate & violence in all its forms

Australia does not need more reviews. It needs political leaders who are prepared to confront Islamophobia with the same urgency given to other forms of racism. A government willing to challenge the complicity of its own institutions, media and laws. #auspol #islamophobia
Islamophobia reports are not enough
For decades, Muslims in Australia have been asked to give evidence, to share their trauma, and to trust that government inquiries will bring change.

The UN has only confirmed what we already knew: Israel is committing genocide.

64,000+ killed, whole families wiped out. Yet UK Govt rolls out the red carpet for Israel’s president & Starmer stays silent.

Labour - this is a genocide. Are you going to continue to ignore that?
Sadiq Khan calling out Zack's use of "social media" instead of calling out the genocide in Mayor's Question Time really is the perfect analogy for why Labour are quite so astoundingly unpopular.

This is thinly disguised homophobia by Farage.

The same far-right figures who have spent years coming for my trans friends & colleagues are emboldened again against anything different from their "normal."

Today and everyday I stand with the whole LGBTQIA+ community.

Your struggle is my struggle.
Nigel Farage:

"Children who have two stable parents have a better chance in life... The most stable relationships, the ones that last the longest, tend to be between men & women... There's an awful lot of kids in the country not getting the kind of start... they deserve."

Farage has two ex-wives.
