ADHD is so weird because sometimes you just have to lay in the extremely hot room with pajamas on & the lights on and just wait until you overheat and reset like that one thing people did for that red ring of death error.

The idea of a school bus being EARLY is kinda messed up. Why do you want kids to stand in what is sometimes negative temperatures in FAHRENHEIT for an extra five minutes, then punish them with either making their parents mad or an unexcused abscence… which makes parents mad.

I like threads because there are more things to argue with, but sometimes I come on here to calm down and read some news. It also helps me to see cool pictures of landscapes, birds, mushrooms, etc. that just happen to come by my feed.

I wish I had more motivation to read. With the way my ADHD presents, it’s hard to just pick up a book and start reading because the only times I actually have motivation to read are the times when reading will make me immediately fall asleep. Luckily I have internet articles, at least.

I love when people are like „I wish I could get the boost from coffee without all the shaking and anxiety“ bc since I have ADHD, I don‘t get the main effects from caffeine. This leads me to only get the side effects and to drink coffee only FOR those weird side effects (and the taste).

Something I was just reminded of that I would like to share further: „Dude“ is gender-neutral (think the intro song to Good Burger), and „Guys“ can be either gendered or gender-neutral depending on the context clues with the usage.

One of the most satisfying things when snacking is when I have tomato basil wheat thins, I will scrape my tongue on the seasoning. It feels so good and I wish I could make a never-ending bowl of food like that.

If required English classes are going to base their importance on „You need to understand how to analyze books to enjoy life“, then they should really stop making everyone hate books by stopping every 4 seconds to ask like 10 questions. Many of them could also just not be symbolism, just a story.

Many old ideas (racism, LGBTQ+-phobia, old gender roles being required things, non-universal voting rights, etc.) are really bad, but man did they know how to build pretty churches (just to clarify, I‘m an atheist, I just love how old architecture looks & feels).

At this point in the history of the U.S., I feel like it would be so easy to start an effective revolution if there weren‘t so many CAMERAS everywhere. Like my school has about 4 cameras in view at every spot of every hallway, plus security guards at every exit, and teachers checking passes.

I feel that the current political state of the US shows how standing for the „pledge of allegiance“ should really not be a social norm. During middle school especially I experienced people everyday saying that I „hate freedom“ because I didn’t stand for the pledge of allegiance, despite the rights.

People who complain about „wokeness“ and „modern snowflakes“ ruining comedy just need to get better jokes bc like actually funny people have made jokes about all different types of people but never gotten cancelled. This happens because hate isn’t funny, and funny isn‘t hate.
