Life is tough, people are horrible, sometimes you never find that place where you belong, the people you belong to.

I refuse to let the pain make me quit.

Getting buried until you suffocate in silence is a horrible way to go. Especially when you're working hard to dig yourself out as the world tries to bury you, especially when you watch people stare you on the face and ignore your pleads for help...

Life is a bit fucked up that way. One day I'll succeed where I'm trying. One day my hard work will get noticed. One day I'll get the mutual respect I desire. Hopefully that day I'll be able to share how to handle these situations.

Nobody ever tells you how to handle it when you ask for help and people agree to help only to stop responding to your messages entirely. Nobody ever tells you how to take it when people call themselves your friend but don't bother even a thumbs up to let you know they see or hear you.

Months to a year later, you see someone else got the same work and did the same thing in a different style. You never got a message back, you never got a shout out, you never got any feedback. Nobody ever tells you how to handle it when people just don't tell you if you're doing something wrong.

Black culture presented through some other culture's lens is "oh so beautiful" though. It's just insane to me, gold jewlery, chains, baggy clothes and rap is a huge issue and wildly inappropriate when the people who originated that culture present it but let the skin tone be different....

... how about we build that standardization on a structure that fits the person. If things don't fit a certain order HOW ABOUT WE ADJUST TO WHAT HELPS THEM TO SEE THE VISION THROUGH FASTER!?!? I think I've just been biting my tongue a lot lately and it's got me tight.

How about we stop de-railing the process that is getting progress because it doesn't fit how we want it to look? I'm personally just sick of knowing that people are getting de-railed and delayed by "standardized thinking" yes having standardization is good but...
