He wants us to seek him even as we do bad things. The fear mongering and control come from hypocrites, yes. But some of us Christians understand the true meaning of Christianity. He died for us bc he understood the hardships of the world and knew we needed him. Sin is real. So is salvation.

He didn't like how the law was above his word. He is forgiving of all. Understanding of all. I think alot of people lose sight of real Christianity. It's about seeking God's love and sharing his grace aka love, forgiveness and acceptance of us EVEN though we are full of sin.

As I read the Bible and study on my own I see religious law as the issue. God loves us so much he came to live as one of us to then die for us and our sins. He was not happy with the way the laws were being twisted and turned to benefit the law makers.
