after hacking away at it and reworking it to the point of absurdity, ive finally finished the script for my next video and, well... ive actually wound up with two scripts. so im gonna try getting the og done asap (it's topical) and then release the other as a companion piece.

rewatched dot and bubble. what stuck out this time is ncuti's performance. the doctor has never experienced that side of humanity personally, and faced with it their faith in us is completely shaken. brutal, honest, heartbreaking, poignant tv. this is what sci-fi is about.

the house of wax remake is so mid-2000s. a remake of a flick nobody was really wanted, so far away from the og in style as to be incomparable, desperately trying to recapture some sort of 70s grime with an ott glossy aesthetic, and also paris hilton is in it. i think i love it.

so, the 73 yards ep of doctor who is basically if the woman in black was in it follows but it turns out the logic is closer to the bent-neck lady from haunting of hill house if her role was to essentially create a low-key version of the dead zone. did i get that right?
