Apparently #Maine Capitol police have estimated that ~4,000 people attended the #HandsOff protest in Augusta today.
For context, the organisers had pulled a permit for 600 people.
And I can confirm the only “counter protesters” were a few pickup trucks with Trump flags (and black-out windows).
