"Regressive" is an understatement. Troglodytic perhaps is a better descriptor.

Wanting to rule by force is shortsighted.

Even if you "win" and rule it all, you're doomed to fall anyway, as you have conditioned your society to value taking by force. Someone on the inside will want what you have.

With the entire federal budget spent on conquest, at the expense of public services and the wellbeing of the nation, you have too ask yourself WHO EXACTLY in the population will die for said conquest?

You're sure as hell not fighting for yourself.

Let the "leaders" pushing for war die first.
