through this I seriously appreciate it.

for who makes the U-20 team and who doesn't, and that even though he may have been chosen for his name, there are plenty of thematic reasons as to why he was number 23. A lot of this was a disorganized rant but I LOVED this chapter and wanted to put it somewhere. If anyone actually read...

main story of blue lock, I firmly believe that he could show up as soon as mid-way next arc, playing for a team other than Japan and acting as a striker that Isagi has to overcome in order to become the heart and soul of the U-20 team. But as it stands, I think Nanase is the perfect borderline...

because of his overwhelming talent. But now that everyone has gained the abilities necessary to play on the world stage he falls behind, being unable to change himself and truly work with the people around him in a way that demonstrates his value. I dont think this is the end for Nagi in the...

matters is winning, Nanase's willingness to adapt however he can despite his lack of skill or intelligence, is what is able to keep him around. Now Nagi is pretty much the opposite, he has remained relatively unchanged since he was introduced, becoming the focal point of any offense purely...

leading role, or something close to it. Nanase's mentality is far more scrappy and underdogish, looking for systems he can fit into and maximizing his extremely limited skillset by attaching himself to much better players. In any other series, this wouldn't work, but in Blue Lock, where all that..

be quite the overstatement. Nanase's skill doesnt come from his talents, his intelligence, but purely his willingness to throw away himself to make it just a little farther with the limited skills he has. While Isagi is willing to throw away himself, it's to reinvent who he is and take the...

significant interaction with Nagi, his placement demonstrates how his play style and his ideology not only counters Nagi's, but is the reason why he made it above him. Nagi is incredibly gifted and while Nanase is ambidextrous, calling him gifted in a series with borderline superpowers would...

with the reveal of Nagi in mind while revealing the top 23, but thats obvious to most everyone who has read the chapter, what I really like is the decision to have Nanase as the 23rd person over Nagi. While Nanase isn't an incredibly important character, and probably will never have any...

this chapter, it has so much to it and a lot of why the top 23 reveal was so well done. Especially loved Nagi immediately understanding he was scared when he was hesitating to shoot the ball, which could have saved his career as we know it. I could talk about how the chapter was constructed....

the series so far and a sore mark on what has been a GENERATIONAL arc for blue lock (probably my favorite of the series thus far). I would love to be proven wrong but Kaneshiro doesn't seem to interested in developing fukaku as a character or as a player. With that being said I absolutely LOVED..

note here (also mentioned in my review) but I finished this game on the exact same day I finished it 4 years ago to the day.
