yes but not just stair banisters! also on balconies and porches and such. i can’t really stand very well without having sth to lean onto for support so i can‘t not think of them but yeah i don’t remember ever seeing them mentioned in other stories

banisters😭 when i noticed i was SO confused why i mention them so much and why other books don’t at all bc they come up so naturally for me…. then i realized that i’m just very focused on them irl bc of my disability lol
