Life has been hella chaotic but one thing I’ve been consistent about is getting back to cooking dinner nearly every single day. Days I don’t cook we eat leftovers! Haven’t had takeout in a hot minute. Some of the meals I’ve made recently. 🖤

I don’t think I can live without ferrets ever again. Waffle may be tiny but she’s ferocious and Maple gets crazy but is the most snuggly chunky boi. Plus he loves to give kisses. Cutest duo ever. Today was a rough day, but a little play session in bed with the kiddo & noodles turned it all around. 🥹

Saw someone on TikTok who uses Google Keep with custom header images to organize basically her entire life. So I moved all of my checklists & hopped on Canva to make some simple but dopamine-inducing header images for them. Nothing special, but here are the ones I did for my kiddo's checklists. 😊

One thing I can count on every day both when I wake up, and when I go to sleep, are kitty snuggles with my Loki. He comes right over as soon as he realizes I’m awake to burrow into my arms, and he follows me to bed at night to do the same. Most cuddly cat I’ve ever had. 🖤

It’s the hub’s 34th birthday! 🥳 Of course I had to make him his favorite cake, funfetti! Spent my day making from scratch cake and buttercream frosting. This was the 1st time I’ve attempted to fully decorate a cake & I’m so proud. Not perfect, but it turned out really cute & it tasted bomb too!

I just spent a ridiculous amount of time turning my pets (+ a couple pics I love) into stickers on iPhone. 🤣 I should be sleeping but my body is angry so this is my distraction.

Our kitchen is old & in need of lots of love but step 1 complete! Our faucet literally snapped two nights ago and we replaced it with a new one today. Matching soap dispenser will be here tomorrow! 1st home project of 2025 done! The other plumbing fixtures are next. 🤭

In 2025, Kirah turns 10 & Lumi turns 8. They’re becoming old ladies. It’s not old for a lot of dog breeds, but Lumi is a Great Pyrenees and Kirah is a German Shepherd mix who absolutely has some sort of giant breed in there given how large she is, we just don’t know what. I wish time could stop.
