Between their legal issues, their lack of profits, and the psychic damage from seeing social channels flooded with GenAI misinformation, I firmly believe OpenAI is the weakest link here - their collapse isn't just guaranteed, it will completely upend US tech as we know it

The heavy hitters are Nvidia ($4.5T), Microsoft ($3.9T), and OpenAI ($500B), but other companies on this list include Oracle, Intel, xAI, AMD, CoreWeave, Nebius, Nscale, Mistral, Figure AI, Ambience Healthcare, Harvey AI, and Anysphere. Some key investments include: Nvidia agrees to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI, Oracle spends tens of billions on Nvidia chips, OpenAI inks a $300 billion cloud deal with Oracle, OpenAI to deploy 6 gigawatts of AMD GPUs, and AMD gives OpenAI option to buy up to 160 million shares. TL;DR I'm pulling my music from Spotify. Fuck Spotify and fuck ICE. Love y'all 🖤
At this time I've decided to pull both of my EPs from Spotify. You should see those tracks removed in the coming weeks. I've long grown disillusioned with Spotify as a streaming platform for their support of AI/fake music and their military investments, but I cannot in good conscience support their decisions to run ICE recruitment ads. The thought of someone hearing my track and immediately being targeted to join a fascist gestapo makes me sick to my stomach. Put simply, the fractional pennies I'm making from Spotify are nowhere near worth the degradation to my art and reputation. For those of you who used Spotify to listen to my music, I'm grateful you did, and you can continue listening to it (for free!) on platforms like YouTube, SoundCloud, and Bandcamp, as well as most other streaming services. But I strongly encourage you move away from Spotify - I assure you there are other platforms that give artists far more control over their music and a more fair pay. I'm not opposed to restoring my music to Spotify one day, but they need to earn my trust back, starting with a clear and direct denouncement of ICE's heinous acts and divestment from its AI and military investments. Anything less than that is unacceptable.
