Seeing a lot of folks talk about how weird publishing timelines can be has been really validating. I've been signed on with my publisher for about two and a half years and I still haven't been able to talk about my book, but at least I know I'm not alone in this 🥲

So update on my mother's condition: we're looking at her having to get the mass removed. Whether or not it'll be a wedge or a lobectomy is still undecided, but granted, we were hoping for treatment to be either chemo or radiation.
Fingers crossed they can get her in ASAP 🤞

Just wanted to thank everyone for the well wishes for my mother. We're currently waiting for her doctor to get back to us as to how we should proceed with treatment. In the meantime, I'm gonna try to get some writing done
